Savory Cheese Omelette Recipe

A fresh, healthy, and fast morning dish perfect for sharing with your favorite breakfast people.

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 eggs, beaten well
  • 1/4 cup sweet peppers, sliced
  • 1/4 cup onion, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, finely diced
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Grated cheese of choice (cheddar, mozzarella, or a local favorite)
  • Fresh spinach (optional)
  • Green onions, diced (for topping)

PREPARATION

1. Heat a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil. Sauté the sweet peppers, onions, and diced garlic until soft and fragrant. Set aside.

2. In a clean, non-stick frying pan over medium heat, pour in the beaten eggs. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Cook for 2–3 minutes, gently pulling the edges toward the center as the eggs begin to set.

4. When the omelette is about 50% cooked, add the grated cheese and the sautéed vegetables.

5. Optional: Add a handful of fresh spinach before folding the heat will gently wilt it.

6. Fold the omelette in half, reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for another 2–3 minutes until perfectly set.

7. Top with diced green onions and serve warm.
